Frequently asked questions
Can I just clean the mold with bleach?
Small spots on hard surfaces can be cleaned, but mold inside drywall or insulation comes back. The wet material has to be removed and the moisture fixed.
How much does mold remediation cost?
It depends on the area and what has to be removed and rebuilt. After the inspection you get a free written estimate.
Do you fix the cause of the mold?
Yes. We find the leak or ventilation problem and make sure it is fixed — that is the only way to stop mold from returning.
Is mold covered by insurance?
If the mold came from a sudden leak, it is often covered with the water damage. We document everything for your adjuster.
